Frequently asked questions about garden maintenance
How much does a gardener cost in Casablanca?
- A maintenance visit on a garden under 100 m² usually costs between 200 and 400 DH, with the gardener's own equipment included. Mowing alone is often billed at 2 to 5 DH per square metre, and hedge trimming at 25 to 60 DH per linear metre. These are indicative prices: the exact figure is given once the gardener has seen the area.
Does the gardener bring his own equipment?
- Yes. He brings a mower, hedge trimmer, brush cutter, edging trimmer, secateurs and a ladder if needed. You provide nothing except a water point and a socket for some electric tools. Fertiliser, compost, turf and plants are charged separately if you ask for them.
Do you offer regular maintenance for a villa or a residence?
- Yes. You can schedule regular visits, for example twice a month for a villa up to 300 m², with the same gardener each time. It is the most economical way to keep a dense lawn and neat hedges all year round. Co-owned buildings can request a green space maintenance schedule matched to their surface area.
Who removes the green waste after trimming?
- The gardener gathers and bags the clippings, branches and cut fronds. Removal may be included or charged extra depending on the volume, and this is agreed before the visit. For large volumes after a full restoration, a van run is organised separately and priced on its own.
Do you work on palm trees and tall trees?
- Palm tree cleaning — dry fronds and date bunches — and light pruning of fruit or olive trees are part of the service, at 150 to 400 DH per tree. For felling or high pruning that needs a platform lift and a properly equipped climber, the gardener will tell you and a specific service is proposed instead.
